Among all the questions we receive, there's one that comes up constantly:
"Can we visit 94 Celcius for a coffee?"
And honestly, this question always touches us.
Over the years, we've had the pleasure of seeing visitors arrive not only from Quebec and Ontario but also from the United States, Europe, Japan, and even further afield. Some have included 94 Celcius in their trip to Montreal. Others have made a special detour to meet us after discovering our coffees online.
First and foremost: thank you. Sincerely. Your support and curiosity mean a great deal to us.
94 Celcius is unfortunately not a café
Many visitors learn upon arrival: 94 Celcius is not a coffee shop.
Our Sainte-Julie address is primarily a roasting workshop. This is where we roast, taste, package, and prepare orders for coffee lovers, independent cafés, and grocery stores across Canada.
We currently have no dining area, no tables, and no on-site coffee or food service. And believe us, we're probably as disappointed as you are.
Our workshop was designed for roasting coffee, not for hosting guests. Every square meter is occupied by green coffee bags, equipment, packaging, and shipping.
Perhaps one day we will finally have enough space to share a cappuccino with you.
You can still pick up your order
Even though we unfortunately cannot serve you an espresso or a pour-over on-site, you can still choose the workshop pickup option when placing your online order.
Every week, people come to pick up their Expé Club, discover a new coffee, or simply say hello. And we are always happy to meet you.

Where to drink excellent coffee near Montreal?
If you're visiting Montreal or the South Shore, here are some places we regularly recommend to our friends and family.
☕ Clubhouse – Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil
4705 chemin du Crépuscule, Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil
Just a few minutes from our workshop, Clubhouse offers a relaxed atmosphere where coffee, golf, and fun meet. It's a great place to start the day or take a break after picking up your order from us. It's 5 minutes from our workshop.
☕ Papilles – Boucherville
556 boulevard de Mortagne #102, Boucherville
Papilles is one of our South Shore partners with the best food offerings and one of the addresses we recommend most often. You'll find excellent coffees, remarkable pastries, artisanal breads, and a warm atmosphere that makes you want to linger. If you were to visit only one address on the South Shore, it would probably be this one. A family-friendly place too; we are always well received with our children.
☕ N Latté – Old Longueuil
247 rue Saint-Charles Ouest, Longueuil
Located in the heart of Old Longueuil, N Latté has become a must-visit destination for specialty coffee lovers. The atmosphere is bright, welcoming, and lively. Whether for a latte, breakfast, or an afternoon break, you always feel good there.
☕ Péché Matinal – Longueuil
337 rue Saint-Charles Ouest, Longueuil
If you're looking for a generous brunch accompanied by excellent coffee, Péché Matinal is hard to beat. The plates are hearty, the atmosphere is warm, and you quickly understand why the place has become so popular.
☕ Aube Boulangerie – Hochelaga
4715 rue Sainte-Catherine Est, Montreal
Aube is one of Montreal's most beautiful bakeries. Their sourdough breads, croissants, and pastries are exceptional. Every visit is a great excuse to slow down and savor simple things made with care.
☕ Mollo – Saint-Henri
4357 rue Notre-Dame Ouest, Montreal
Mollo is a place of elegant simplicity. The work on breads, pastries, and desserts is remarkable. It's the kind of place where everything seems thoughtful and executed with great finesse.
☕ Feuilleté – Rosemont
2450 rue de Bellechasse, Montreal
Croissant and puff pastry lovers will fall for Feuilleté. The level of execution is exceptional, and the experience is on par with the best modern bakeries.
☕ Saison des Pluies – Villeray
301 rue Guizot Est, Montreal
Saison des Pluies feels more like being invited to a friend's house than entering a café. The atmosphere is gentle and comforting, the dishes are delicious, and you quickly understand why the place has such a loyal clientele.
☕ La Brume dans mes Lunettes – Rosemont
378 rue Saint-Zotique Est, Montreal
Known for its afternoon teas, scones, and unique atmosphere, La Brume dans mes Lunettes is an absolutely charming address. You come here to slow down and enjoy the moment.
☕ Brume Comptoir – Hochelaga
5500 rue Fullum #102, Montreal
Same team as La Brume dans mes Lunettes, in a different formula: specialty coffee, sandwiches, pastries, and seasonal cuisine, in a calm atmosphere where you like to take your time. You often go in for a coffee... and end up staying for lunch.
☕ Brume Cantine – Plateau-Mont-Royal
4482 rue Fabre, Montreal
The third Brume location, this time in the Plateau. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, and the gourmet sandwiches — pulled beef, chicken salad — pair perfectly with a good coffee for lunch or brunch. A great option if you're on the Plateau side rather than Hochelaga or Rosemont.
Thank you
Every week, visitors arrive in Sainte-Julie hoping to discover a café. Instead, they discover a roasting workshop filled with bags of green coffee, boxes, machines, and the smell of roasting.
And yet, they leave with a smile.
Perhaps one day, we will finally have enough space to add a few tables and serve you that cappuccino we dream of as much as you do. In the meantime, we are fortunate to be surrounded by extraordinary cafés and bakeries that share the same values as us: craftsmanship, hospitality, and a love for specialty coffee. These are the places where we send our own friends.
And if you come to pick up your order at our Sainte-Julie workshop... don't hesitate to say hello. We will always be happy to meet you.
Never bitter, always right. #NeverBitterAlwaysRight
