The James Hoffmann x Lucia Solis Fermentation Project is coming to 94 Celcius. This kit brings together 4 coffees from the same lot, each processed with a different fermentation method, to explore the true impact of fermentation in the cup.

Why 94 Celcius?

At 94 Celcius, we believe that specialty coffee should be both accessible and profoundly surprising.

Founded by a researcher with a background in biochemistry and pharmacology, and a board member of the Café Collectif (2024 to 2026), our Sainte-Julie workshop (Greater Montreal) injects a unique analytical rigor into roasting.

Since 2017, we have mastered thermal processes on our Probat to honor the work of exceptional producers. Our catalog evolves with the seasons, traveling from classic and comforting profiles to the most avant-garde fermentation coffees (anaerobic, thermal shock, co-fermentation...) on the world stage.

This fusion of technical precision and sensory curiosity allows us to sculpt expressive, vibrant, and memorable aromatic profiles. Today, our vision of a fair, lively, and never bitter coffee is shared and served in over 250 points of sale (coffee shops, grocery stores, boutiques...) across Canada and internationally.

In 2026, 94 Celcius became the only Quebec roaster to reach the top 8 in the Favorite Canadian Coffee Roaster community tournament organized by Reviews Coffee.
