Champagne Long Kou - Oolong (50g)

Regular price $45.00

The floral elegance of semi-wild gardens

The fruit of a singular project, Champagne Long Kou revisits the famous dongfang meiren - also known as Bai Hao or "Oriental Beauty". Grown in the biodynamic gardens of Guangxi, China, from qing xin da mao tea bushes transplanted from Taiwan in the 1940s, this batch draws its complexity from a unique terroir and the intervention of nature itself.

Bitten by the leafhoppers (small insects essential to its aromatic signature), this tea develops subtle layers of red fruits, exotic flowers and a honeyed sweetness reminiscent of a fruit punch in a flower store. Affordable yet refined, it lives up to its name of "oolong champagne".
