About the artist Philippe Mathieu

Philippe Mathieu is a Quebec illustrator and artist renowned for his vibrant, colorful universe brimming with characters. His work tells stories where every detail matters, inviting the eye to wander and discover new winks over time. Inspired by Quebec culture, cities, landscapes, everyday scenes, and especially coffee, he creates works that blend humor, emotion, and imagination.

For this collaboration with 94 Celcius, Philippe envisioned his own version of Montreal, where specialty coffee becomes the common thread of the illustration.
