The Quebec-based specialty coffee roaster that delivers across Canada
Discover 94 Celcius Canadian roaster
There are hundreds of coffee roasters in Canada. Few combine technical rigor, traceability of origins, commitment to producers, and national delivery within days of roasting.
Since 2017, 94 Celcius has been doing exactly that — from Sainte-Julie, Quebec.
Founded by Marc-Alexandre Emond-Boisjoly, 94 Celcius is now one of the most recognized independent roasters in Canada. Our coffees are available in over 250 gourmet grocery stores, cafes, and specialty shops from British Columbia to the Atlantic, and delivered directly to coffee lovers in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec City, Montreal, and everywhere in between.
Our philosophy can be summed up in three words: #NeverBitterAlwaysRight.
A Quebec coffee roaster with a national reach
The specialty coffee scene in Canada has exploded in the past ten years. Neighbourhoods such as Commercial Drive in Vancouver, Kensington Market in Toronto, and Saint-Henri in Montreal have developed a demanding and curious coffee culture. It is in this ecosystem that 94 Celcius has grown – and it is this demanding Canadian public that we serve.

Coffee Culture in Canada
Canada is now one of the most sophisticated specialty coffee markets in the world. According to industry data, Canadians consume an average of over 152 liters of coffee per person per year, and a growing proportion of this consumption is shifting towards specialty coffee, carefully prepared at home.
This change in behavior – investing in a good grinder, learning extraction, subscribing to a roaster – reflects the same reality: Canadians want to know what they are drinking, where it comes from, and who produced it.
94 Celcius exists to meet this demand with honesty. No vague marketing about "superior quality." Real farm names. Documented roast profiles. Direct communication about our sourcing choices.
