A Brief Review of the 2nd Edition in Magog

Last year, the second edition of Café Fest was held in Magog, and it marked a real turning point for the event. The growing popularity of the festival brought nearly 1,000 visitors to the rue de la Grosse-Pomme, doubling the attendance of the first edition. Nine roasters were on hand to offer tastings and introduce the public to the subtleties of specialty coffee.

What made the Magog edition so successful was the festival's relaxed, accessible atmosphere, highlighting the values of sharing and education around coffee. Visitors were able to discover the roasting process first-hand, taste unique coffees and take part in workshops. The conference, hosted by Neuroscience Sherbrooke, explored caffeine's path from the earth to the consumer, adding an educational dimension to this festive event.

With this spirit of authenticity and conviviality, Mini Café Fest 2024 promises to perpetuate this tradition, while reinforcing the importance of specialty coffee in the Estrie region.
