Bambito - Panama
Description
Why choose: Bambito - Panama
In the cup, Bambito stands out for its aromatic clarity.
The jasmine brings a delicate floral note reminiscent of great Panamanian coffees, while the white peach develops a silky and refined sweetness. The fresh and persistent finish evokes a delicately brewed iced tea, leaving an impression of lightness and balance.
The body is silky, the acidity bright yet controlled, offering a contemplative cup that gently evolves as it cools.
Why choose Bambito Estate?
A century-old family history
Since the early 1900s, Bambito Estate has cultivated coffee in the mountains of Chiriquí. Taken over in 1945 by Alberto Sitton Ríos, the farm is now run by the fourth and fifth generations of the family, who continue their constant pursuit of quality with the same exacting standards.
This passion for excellence was notably demonstrated in 2021, when Bambito Estate won first place in the prestigious Best of Panama competition with its washed Geisha Avalanche of Flavor.
The power of microclimates
Located between two mountain ranges, in the heart of the cloud forests near Volcán Barú, Bambito Estate benefits from an exceptional environment. Natural temperature variations, altitude, and winds create microclimates that promote slow cherry ripening and great aromatic complexity.
Discreet precision
At Bambito Estate, innovation never seeks to draw attention.
Meticulously maintained plots, a keen understanding of microclimates, and constant attention to drying allow for coffees of remarkable purity. Here, every decision is guided by a single ambition: to reveal the best of the terroir.
