Boris has meticulously crafted this tropical cocktail, harmoniously blended with the delights of rum. This exquisite drink embodies the festive spirit and adds a vibrant touch to your celebrations.

Cocktail recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz dark rum (I recommend Dark original from Plantation)
  • ¾ oz lime juice
  • ¾ oz passion fruit juice
  • ¾ oz hibiscus syrup
  • 1 oz cold brew from C'est la fête café !
  • 2 dash Angostura

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a glass with crushed ice.

Hibiscus syrup :

Ingredients:

  • 1L water
  • 5g allspice
  • ½ vanilla pod
  • 500g sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dried hibiscus

Recipe:

  • Bring water to a boil.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add all remaining ingredients.
  • Allow to cool.
  • Strain syrup.

Keeps for up to a week in the fridge. Can be frozen.

Cold brew from C'est la fête!:

  • 1 cup coarsely ground coffee
  • 1L water

Leave the coffee to infuse in the water, using a plunger coffee maker, in the fridge overnight or for 12 hours.
