The Bolivian Trio - Mamani: A Unique Journey to the Heart of the Bolivian Terroir

At 94 Celcius, we're proud to be collaborating for the fourth year running with Lucia Mamani, an exceptional coffee grower from Bolivia's Yungas region. Renowned for her commitment to sustainability and quality, Lucia transforms each harvest into a true work of art. This year, we're offering you a rare and precious opportunity: to discover the Trio Bolivien - Mamani, three coffees from the same farm, but processed using three different methods.

A unique coffee experience

What makes this trio so exceptional is that it comes from the same farm, grown with the same varieties of coffee trees - Catuai and Caturra - and in the same climate, at an altitude of 1,600 metres, on the Uchumachi lands. The real magic lies in the processing: each coffee is treated by a distinct process - washed, honeyed and natural. This allows us to appreciate how processing methods profoundly influence the aromas and flavors of the same coffee.

Unicorne
This washed coffee reveals sublime notes of Nutella, red fruit and vanilla. The washed process highlights the purity of the beans, removing all pulp before drying, resulting in a clean, bright and luminous cup.

Prunelino
Treated using the honey process, this variant boasts rich flavors of plum, hazelnut and caramel. This process retains some of the pulp during drying, giving the coffee a slightly denser texture and smoothness, while maintaining its complexity.

Tropical season
Finally, the natural process used for Saison Tropicale brings vibrant aromas of pineapple, honey and a creamy texture. This process, in which the coffee cherries dry entirely with their pulp, produces a fruitier, more complex cup, reflecting all the richness of Lucia Mamani's terroir.

Three processes, three universes of flavour

This is a rare opportunity: to taste three different processing methods from a single harvest is almost unique in the world of specialty coffee. Each process brings a new taste experience, allowing us to explore in depth the influence of fermentation and drying on coffee beans. Thanks to Lucia Mamani, we are fortunate to be able to offer you this total immersion in the art of coffee.

A passionate producer

Lucia Mamani is much more than a coffee producer. With know-how inherited from generations of farmers and an unwavering commitment to quality, she has turned her farm in Uchumachi into a model for the production of specialty coffees. Her coffees are the authentic expression of her terroir, revealing the richness of the Yungas soils and her expertise in transformation processes.

When you choose Le Trio Bolivien - Mamani, you're not just enjoying coffee; you're exploring the depth and diversity of a terroir through three unique taste experiences.
