Discover our Fraisella coffee, an Ethiopian treasure from the Hamasho station in the Bensa region of Sidama. This unique coffee, grown between 1,920 and 2,020 meters above sea level, offers bewitching notes of blackberry, strawberry and chocolate. 🍓🍫
The Hamasho station, managed by Asefa Dukamo Korma, works with over 600 small growers who contribute their cherries, mainly of the 74158 variety. Thanks to the region's high altitude and microclimate, Fraisella berries develop exceptional density and incomparable aromatic richness.
The coffee is carefully fermented in water for 36 to 72 hours, then dried on African beds for 12 to 15 days for washed batches, and 16 to 21 days for natural batches. This meticulous production method reveals deep, complex flavors, a true reflection of the Hamasho terroir.
Fraisella is the result of working with Daye Bensa, a benchmark for quality in Ethiopia. Since 1996, they have been overcoming the challenges of coffee growing, and today are recognized for their excellence, winning several distinctions at the Cup of Excellence.
