The taste of eternal spring.

Between family tradition and a vision of the future, Eterna Primavera is the most accomplished expression of David Batres' work with Finca Batres. This natural lot from Tekisic, grown at an altitude of 1750 metres in the Santa Rosa region, evokes a bowl of red fruit dipped in dark chocolate. In the cup, a warm dance between blueberry, cherry and deep cocoa. A vibrant, rich and infinitely generous coffee - just like its producer.

Why choose Eterna Primavera?

Back to our roots, looking to the future
A Montrealer by adoption, David Batres returned to Guatemala 4 years ago to take over the family farm. In just a few seasons, he has become an emerging figure in Guatemalan specialty coffee, combining respect for the terroir with controlled innovation.

Controlled processing
Thanks to well-researched methods and a natural process, David sublimates the aromatic potential of his beans. The result: an expressive, complex cup, where each note is the fruit of a precise, thoughtful gesture.

A sustainable and committed approach
David doesn't just produce coffee, he transforms a model. By implementing sustainable practices and direct trade, he creates a real impact on the lives of the workers at Finca Batres. He trains, shares and is actively involved in the collective upliftment of the industry.

A taste to (re)discover
Every year, David surprises us. But this 2025 version ofEterna Primavera is perhaps his greatest success to date. Rich, fruity, textured - a coffee that invites us to slow down, contemplate and savor.
