Tropicara: the momentum of a Salvadorian volcano

In sunny Usulután, perched 1,400 meters above sea level on the slopes of a volcano, Diego Baraona carries on a family heritage that spans five generations. His Los Pirineos farm is a veritable epicenter of passion and innovation, where each Pacamara Orange bean soaks up sunshine and constant breezes, before being sublimated by a Red Honey process that reveals deep aromas of caramel, orange and tropical fruit.

      Why choose Tropicara?

Tropicara is much more than a coffee: it's an invitation to explore and contemplate.

Thanks to a unique climate, with twelve hours of daily sunshine and a continuous wind, the cherries dry slowly and precisely, allowing the flavors to develop harmoniously. Thefamily heritage, driven by Diego Baraona's vision, is combined with a responsible approach: careful water management through rain harvesting, tree planting to preserve a rich ecosystem and sustainable employment for the local community. Each cup reveals the perfectbalance between tradition and innovation, while honoring the volcanic terroir that gives it life.

Immerse yourself in theluminous world of Tropicara, a coffee that celebratesboldness andexcellence, and be inspired by its unique harmony of caramelized sweetness and fruity freshness.

We acquired this lot at a private auction organized by Los Pirineos. For the second year running, 94 Celcius is proud to buy lots directly from Diego Baraona's farm.
